  • Finding My Place in Ministry II (Spiritual Leadership)

    Dr. Tracey Wheatley Saturday, 9am - 11 am

    This course is the second part of a two-course sequence, following “Finding my Place in Ministry”. Building on the foundation of divine calling and separation, students will delve deeper into the characteristics and responsibilities of spiritual leaders, emphasizing the cultivation of godly character, vision, and servant leadership in ministry. Drawing from the writings and insights of Oswald Chambers, particularly his focus on total surrender, personal devotion, and reliance on the Holy Spirit, this course will challenge students to embrace a deeper level of leadership that is rooted in humility, prayer, and obedience to God's will. Students will gain a deeper understanding of spiritual leadership as a calling to reflect God's character and purpose. This course will inspire students to develop the qualities of a Christ-centered leader.

  • Church Leadership and Governance: The Deacon, The Elder, and The Episcopacy

    Elder Kasey Wood Saturday, 9am – 11 am

    This course offers an exploration of church leadership and governance through the lens of the New Testament. It focuses on the biblical roles of the Deacon, the Elder, and the Episcopacy (Overseer and Bishop). The course examines their scriptural foundations, responsibilities, qualifications, and how these roles interrelate within the body of Christ. Students will engage with key New Testament texts to understand the theological and practical aspects of church leadership., this course will equip students with a robust understanding of ecclesial leadership, preparing them for service in various church settings.

  • Apostolic Ministry: Mission, Leadership, and Kingdom Impact

    Dr. Lois Anderson Saturday, 11 am – 1 pm

    This course delves into the New Testament’s depiction of Apostolic Ministry, focusing on its mission, leadership principles, and transformative impact on the Kingdom of God. The course will guide students in understanding the apostolic ministry’s enduring relevance and its responsibility in the 21st century church. Through biblical analysis, reflection on apostolic leadership, and practical application, students will revisit the mission and values of the early apostles, and the challenge to carry the message of the Kingdom of God forward. Through careful study of key scriptures, students will explore the apostolic call to preach the gospel, perpetuate foundational church doctrine, establish community, train leaders, and advance God’s Kingdom on earth.
